Meath badminton enjoyed another standout weekend on Sunday, 22 February, as county teams took to courts across Leinster for the CAC Inter-County preliminary rounds — and the Royals did not disappoint.
Both the Grade 5A and 5B teams delivered strong performances, topping their groups to secure well-earned places in their respective finals. The Grade 3 squad also impressed, showing resilience and consistency as they confidently booked their spot in the final stages.
In total, eight county teams representing the Meath Badminton Association will travel to the Baldoyle Badminton Centre on 22 March for what promises to be an action-packed day at the Leinster CAC Inter-County Finals.
In a remarkable achievement for the county, eight out of the ten Meath teams entered in this year’s competition have progressed to finals day — a testament to the depth of talent and the growing strength of badminton across the Royal County.
